When I decided that I was embarking on a project with MASTERS, it was clear to me that I was going to share a side of myself that I had never revealed before. I felt that this time…I want to go deeper and share with the viewers the way I think and the way I act every time I approach designing a collection.
The technical things can be learned in professional schools, but seeing up close, the process I go through in each of the steps along the way – can teach a lot in my opinion.
This project is to show the world of fashion design from my personal point of view, to share the way I think, my work style, my choices, my deliberations. Just to be revealed step by step, all the way until the establishment of a new collection.
In the project I talk about sources of inspiration, forms of research, sketches, working with canvases, imagery, free modeling, working with unconventional materials, preparing for a show, working with a stylist, model auditions and everything that happens behind the scenes in building a collection.
I’m actually talking here about almost everything that I would have been really happy if they had told me when I was starting out.
